Symptoms and Signs of Alzheimer's or other forms of Dementia:

Early Stage Symptoms
• Memory loss
• Personality changes
• Calculating problems becomes more difficult
• Communication becomes more difficult
• Judgment fails
• Daily living activities become more difficult
• Difficulty concentrating

Middle Stage Symptoms
• Memory loss increases
• Sleep disturbances
• Getting lost
• Help needed for personal care
• Agitation, anger, suspiciousness and anxiety
• Confusion about time
• Constant supervision becomes necessary

Late Stage Symptoms
• Most motor skills are lost
• Bladder and bowel incontinence
• Swallowing problems
• Speech jumbled
• Doesn’t recognize self or family
